Major Activities/Achievements of GENERAL SHAH NAWAZ MEMORIAL FOUNDATION

Great luminaries become immortal in the annals of time through their deeds and innate qualities. The best way we can pay tribute to such great luminaries is by inculcating the ideals they stood for and by steadily taking forward the work initiated by them.

Late General Shah Nawaz Khan was also one such great luminary who heroically suffered his family & life at the altar of duty. By establishing and keeping alive his ideals, we can pay an honest tribute to him and immoratize the supreme sacrifice he made for the nation.

VISION AND MISSION OF THE FOUNDATION

The General Shah Nawaz Memorial Foundation was founded with a feeling of “Helping the Helpless”. With a handful of supporters and great deal of determination, we continue our journey….But there is a long way to go……………!!

Our scope of work covers a wide spectrum of developmental issues ranging from formal and informal education for children, women and youth, community participation, health care, family counseling..etc..

General Shah Nawaz Memorial Foundation aims to shower everyone‟s life with brightness, love, care and affection. To do so, we apply a multidimensional approach focusing on Integrated Community Development.

Energised with the past performance, we again take the opportunity to organize The “2nd International Mushaira and Kavi Samelan” in New Delhi in the 1st week of July to honour the courage of our freedom fighters, specially the zeal and determination of General Shah Nawaz Khan. We are also planning to hold a National Seminar on “Inclusive Growth & Development” towards making a BETTER INDIA, a dream of our freedom heroes.

General Shah Nawaz Memorial Foundation is creating awareness towards secular and patriotic values of the legendary freedom fighter, Cabinet Officer of INA of Subhash Chandra Bose and Former Union Minister Gen. Shah Nawaz Khan through anniversary celebrations, seminars, cultural events and sports programmes etc.
