Initially the organization ASHRA CHARITABLE SOCIETY had a humble beginning with its presence in NCT Delhi. Today through relentless and the best possible effort from the whole team of AHSRA , the organization stands at a crossroad where it is working hand in hand towards progress with 2,6938 individuals. Its development programs now address poverty eradication, social marketing, natural resources management, corporate social responsibility and gender equity etc.. The organization is geared to address the burning problem of poverty and unemployment. As a pro-developmental organization, it is able to promote public-private-partnership envisaged by Government. Its innovative approach to address the long felt large gap in the field of primary educations. ASHRA CHARITABLE SOCIETY (ASHRA) is concerned and relentlessly working towards fulfilling the goal targeted under Millennium Development Goal (MDG) of United Nations. The actual design behind all these exercise is to promote effective and efficient self governance by the people. ASHRA has a systematic approach towards conceptualizing new ideas, implement action research projects and then document them properly for use of development practitioners. In the process we capture the learning from both our successes and failures which help us in strengthening our interventions strategy and methodology. ASHRA CHARITABLE SOCIETY believes on the “Promotion of Good Health” as best gift that can be given to all those we love. ASHRA observes religiously days specified by World Health Organization and some of those of United Nations. Millennium Developmental Goals, 04, 05 and 06 are the prime concern to ASHRA. The organization sincerely works towards reduction of child mortality, improving maternal health and combats HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Malaria and other diseases.
