Abhayam is home for elders to accommodate 20 poor or destitute old age people, recognized by the Board of Control for Orphanages and other Charitable homes Kerala. Abhayam is also home for Women and Girls,to accommodate 30 poor/destitute women or girls, recognized by the Board of Control for Orphanages and other Charitable homes Kerala. Rehabilitation centre for mentally challenged to accommodate and train mentally challenged persons under MPLAD Scheme. Special school for mentally challenged by Pattambi Bloack Panchayath. Horticulture therapy of Agriculture Department. Pallam Memorial Library and reading room affiliated to Kerala State Library Council. Youth Development Centre of Nehru Yuva Kendra. Production Centre: Toilet soap. Tooth powder. Paddy and other agriculture products Natural Health Centre. Tailoring school Nodal continuing education centre of Pattambi Block Panchaayth. Extention centre of IPT&GPT College, Shornur. Residential camps and vocational training. Rural Development, Environment protection, Panchayath Raj, Health, Education, Anti Drug abuse, Consumer protection, Film society, Youth club Etc.. Madhava Vadya Vidyaalayam at Mulayankavu, Rural resource development centre of Canara Bank Platinum Jubilee rural development trust at Edappalam. Now Abhayam have more than 75 orphan/destitute/mentally challenged/aged persons as inmates. Started in small rented building in a very remote village, now Abhayam have 15 acres of land and buildings provided by the trustees of Social Associations For Development and other Philanthropists, to accomodate the activities in Koppam, Vilayur, Muthuthala, Vaniyamkulam, Nellaya, Kulukkallur and Malampuzha Panchayaths.
