The AAR KAY SOCIAL WELFARE CENTRE has been established to provide guidance, help and means to the youth particularly the women and girls belonging to weaker sections of the society living in rural and backward urban areas for general development of the society. the major aim of the AAR KAY SOCIAL WELFARE CENTRE has been to assist this section of the society to lead a honorable life and contribute towards the betterment of the society. the AAR KAY SOCIAL WELFARE CENTRE has been providing training to girls and women in the trades of cutting and tailoring, dress designing, beauty culture and typing and short hand. Short term courses are arranged for such training. Condensed courses for 10th and 12th failure and left out girl students are arranged. they are provided with books and coaching to prepare them for the state Board examinations , coaching classes are also held for left out students and failures below 8th standard. this society has been actively participating in the programmes organised by the state Department of Environment and remote sensing. Debates, symposiums, seminars and exhibitions are frequently held by the society to highlight the importance of neat and clean environment and wild life and Founa and Floura. Presently the society stands affiliated with Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan Distt. Jammu under the ministry of youth affairs and sports Government of India . The society in associations with the Sangathan is running various courses and training programmes. the society intends to reach out to each and every individual to enable them to earn their bread and butter and become a purposeful citizen of the society.the society shall also try to help the people in getting their due in the welfare schemes sponsored by the state or Central Government. It is hoped that the society shall achieve its aims and objects to contributed towards national development and upliftment of the deserving section of the rural society.
