Details of Achievements :
DEEP Foundation is a Non Governmental Organization that was established in May 2009 with a vision of bringing self reliance to the weaker sections of society through the medium of education.
We aspire to incubate villages and work towards their overall economic and social development. As a central project coordinating agency, we shall be poised to steer integrated growth amongst the weaker sections of society. We see ourselves leveraging the strengths of several other developmental agencies, citizens, bureaucracy and politicians to help achieve our goals. Taking one village at a time, we plan to duplicate this model across the subcontinent in the years to come.
In order to develop self sustaining societies, we see a large part of our work in the sphere of education—i.e awareness sessions, basic education, practical tools and techniques.
We have already initiated work in the areas of

- · Education
- · Employment opportunities in the rural sector
As our work with the villages intensifies, we will expand our scope of work to include Forest and Environment related projects, Health and Family Welfare, Infrastructure Development and much more.
We try as far as possible never to assist in currency form, but rather prefer to investigate what people, especially children, need and to deliver that item directly into their hands. This avoids many of the pitfalls that exist in the world of giving.
No member of DEEP Foundation receives financial gain of any kind but the true satisfaction of knowing that, at the very least, we are attempting to make a difference.
Project NEEV -education initiative for underpriviliged children in Delhi from Mehrauli/Kishangarh villages -Integrated development of small ruminants in Rajouri, J&K by forming SHGs. co-ord. by NABARD & DAHDF, Gov of India. -Working with the Gujjar Bakkarwals and addressing basic issues. Setting up mobile schools(1st one in Tarsar and Pingagala) for women and children – Working on providing timely health assistance to their flock by setting up mobile vet clinics(proposed) in far flung areas – Empowering the women of Budgam District, J&K by employing them in various aspects of livestock breeding of sheep and goats.
