Major Activities/Achievements of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan: 1) In 2007 Partnered with United Nations Office on Drug & Crime for it Project G86″Empowering Communities for Prevention of Drugs & HIV in India.” Took the prevention campaign in State of Punjab, Uttrakhand, Haryana, NCT of Delhi and Karnatka. Covered youth from Schools, IT/ITES Companies and general communities. Reached out to more than 30000 youth. 80 mater trainers 40 teachers trained in prevention campaign. Have now extended this program in the year 2009 to 18 more districts. 2)Successfully completed awareness program on watershed management program in Pithoragarh with support from Ministry of Science & Technology 3)Started Antardrishti Program for differently abled people. Two units; candle making and herbal soap making have been established visually challenged and handicapped people including women provided training and employment 4)Working in Central Prison Tihar and other jails of India through its Prisoners Reformation & Rehabilitation Program – Antarkranti for last 14 years. Have de-addicted hundreds of prisoners and transformed their personality through spiritual applications
