Career Launcher Education Foundation (CLEF) is a Registered Charitable Trust. The main object of Career Launcher Education Foundation is to promote quality education comparable to the best in the world. Gautam Puri, Nikhil Mahajan, Satya Narayanan R, Sreenivasan R, Sujit Bhattacharyya and Shantanu Prakash are the trustees. Career Launcher Education Foundation is part of the Career Launcher Group (CL). Founded in 1995 and spearheaded by IIM-IIT alumni, CL has, since its inception, focused on academic excellence, technological innovation and domain expertise to work towards its core objective of making education accessible to all and sundry and enable individuals to realize their potential while making their career dreams come true. CLEF is currently running six schools in Indore, Hyderabad, Raipur, Bhiwani, Mandi and Noida under the brand name Indus World School & Ananda (Noida). All schools are pillars of their community and are established as amongst the top three schools of their respective cities. The schools stand for excellence in academic learning, where innovation is a way of life and learning knows no boundaries, where students enjoy coming to school and develop their skills in a holistic form. CLEF is also running a business school based out of Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The business school offers a Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA) and a Post Graduation Programme in Management (PGPM). The Business school operating under the brand name Indus World School of Business (IWSB) focuses on creating the urge for entrepreneurial and entrepreneurial behavior. The School would encourage its members to reflect these values/attributes in their behavior and relationships, and ensure that students/participants also experience these in their life at the School and in studies. The Head of the Academic Committee of IWSB is Prof. Ishwar Dayal. Prof. Dayal was the founding Director of IIM Lucknow. Prior to that, he had taught at IIM Calcutta and IIM Ahmedabad. An academic leader of immense renown, he was Chairman of a Committee appointed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development to recommend on Policy Perspectives for Management Education in India. CLEF is in the process of setting up its own university by the name Indus World University (IWU). Besides academic, technical and business courses, IWU would have a major focus on vocational training, it would generate direct employment for 3500 people and create employment opportunities for 50,000 students over the next five years.
