Details of Achievements :

Bhaskar Foundation is a social initiative of Writers & Publishers Ltd. (Dainik Bhaskar Group). Dainik Bhaskar is the 2nd largest News Paper in India in terms of readership. The publications include Dainik Bhaskar and DB Star in Hindi, Divya Bhaskar in Gujarati and DNA in English. Bhaskar Foundation carries out CSR activities of the group through various development programmes. The projects under implementation include rehabilitation of flood victims in Village Bella and Banaipatti of Districts Arariya and Supaul, Bihar. Wherein training cum production activities are undertaken with the objective of providing employment opportunities to the people of flood afftected villages in districts of Arariya and Supaul in Bihar. The training centres are established in district headquarter of Arariya and village Bella.The training are provided in tailoring, agarbatti stick making and candle making. Besides, other activities are- Desilting of Bhopal Lake, Drinking Water project in Nari Semri in Mathura, Jal Satyagrah campaign to create awareness on water conservation, Donate in Kind campaign for economically weaker section of the Society etc. Major focus area include vocational training , Skill Development and livelihood generation.We have also adopted Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in MP and Chhattisgarh. Other proposaed projects include -providing employable skills and training to below poverty line rural youths in MP, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana and Punjab . We as a Group have a strong reach and network in various sections of Indian society and geographic regions. Due the popularity of our media in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Chattisgarh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Chandigarh we have a strong communication linkage with society at large.
