Details of Achievements :
At Community Friendly Movement we are working on creating solution to harness the latent potential that lies in utilizing unemployed, underemployed and disguisedly employed communities to create value in the village. By creating implementable solutions and addressing local needs, mass migration for work by these communities to urban locations may be reduced. This would in turn reduce stress on urban infrastructure and creation of urban slum.
The process though consumes resources and time but surely would enhance average earning of the household in village itself and more importantly bridge the gap between academic research and its application on the ground. Entrepreneurship breeds further employment prospects that are then propagated economically to induce systemic changes and improve quality of life at village level.
Community Friendly Movement’s philosophy is grounded in COLLECTIVE WILL. We view this as a phenomena that we typically associate with the invisible interior of individuals and collectives that make up CFM core team, field team, artisan and farmer communities, donors and supporters.
Focusing on collective as a route metaphor we want on one hand to bring into bring academic research and managerial skills to grassroots level and on the other hand preserve the image of entrepreneurship as generic human endeavor amidst our communities.
As a guided principle we wish to create a happy livelihood movement in the villages where we work. Project Anhad Gram for holistic village development being executed for GAIL in Jhabua,MP and for BHEL in Munger, Bihar to cover more than 50 villages.
